Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and had a magnificent, if damp, ceiling-faded grandeur with its fresci and at least 6 m high ceiling. We also appreciated being in a small 'MOTEL' style annexe in the grounds. The service was incredibly helpful and attentive, especially Antonio in the restaurant who always had great tips on what to eat. The location was ideal for us, allowing us to leave our car in private parking and easily travel by train to all the places we wanted to visit like Pompeii, Capri, and the city itself. The dining experience, while not very rich, was good overall. The facilities were great, and we enjoyed the proximity to the pool. The pricing was fair, offering good value for money.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with enjoyable small terraces and excellent air conditioning. The restaurant staff, particularly Antonio, was helpful and attentive, providing great tips for dining options. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Pompeii and Vesuvius, though the surrounding areas are not very scenic. The dining experience was perfect on the terrazza, offering a variety of options. The facilities are well-equipped and convenient for guests.
The hotel had a mix of pros and cons. The rooms felt like a 'MOTEL' style annexe yet boasted a breathtaking high vaulted painted ceiling akin to the Sistine Chapel. While some aspects seemed of fake premium quality, the service was really helpful. The location, though lovely, had a distracting video screen indoors, but the staff were always ready to assist with local guidance. The dining experience had room for improvement, yet the organic vegetables stood out.
